In a 5/8/77 retreat darśana with Baba Hari Dass, he explained that Kālī and God are symbols, and we must transcend our own bodily identification to understand them. Time moves forward, and we must be ready. He also remarked that drinking represents a lack of happiness and that adopting language used by others suggests a potential unhealthy influence.
